Imaging (song)

This is my journal entry for the Imaging class. The translation is on the journal and also below.

Watercolour
In a piece of paper
I draw a yellow sun
And with five or six lines
It’s easy to make a castle
Tracing a pencil around my hand
I give myself a glove
And if I make it rain,
With two strokes of a pencil
I have an umbrella
If a small drop of ink
Falls on a blue piece of paper
I instantly imagine
A beautiful seagull
That is crossing the sky
It flies away,
Crossing the horizon
From North to South
I’m flying along with her
Travelling Hawaii
Beijing or Istanbul
I paint a saiboat
That is smoothly sailing away
There’s so much of sky and sea’a immensity
In a blue kiss
Through the clouds
A beautiful airplane in pink and maroon
Is coming
Colouring all around it
With its lights blinking vividly
With a bit of imagination I see it
Taking off, quietly and beautifully
And if we want it to,
We can make it land.
In a piece of paper
I draw a ship
Leaving the quay
With a few good friends
Drinking in peace with life
From one America to the other
I go in a second
I just turn a compass
And in a circle I make the world
A boy walks
And walking he reaches a wall
Over this wall, not far from it
The future is waiting for us
And the future is a spaceship
We try to control
It is timeless and merciless
There’s no right time for it to come
Without asking for permission
Changes our lives
And then invites us
To laugh or cry
In the road ahead us we can’t
Know or see what’s about to come
No one truly knows where’s heading us
We’re just going along
Crossing a beautiful footbridge
Painted in watercolour
That someday will fade away
In a piece of paper
I draw a yellow sun
(That will fade away)
And with five of six lines
It’s easy to make a castle
(That will fade away)
I just turn a compass
And in a circle I make the world
(That will fade away)
